My boyfriend surprised me with the most thoughtful gift for our wedding, a honeymoon in Mallorca, and actually booked the most amazing boutique hotel in Mallorca, located in Soller valley, a hide-away for any couple needing to spend time together, relax, and enjoy their vacation without crowds. Boutique Hotel Ca’s Xorc, blew my mind away the moment we reached it, after driving among the mountains. Occupying a stone-walled former mill built in 1790, this rustic-chic boutique hotel on a remote hillside, was the perfect options for us, as it combined all the mountain beauty of the Mediterranean surroundings, but designed to accommodate guests in the most stylish way.
We booked the deluxe room to spend our honeymoon at, that came with a private balcony, that made me thinking only of movies in southern Europe sceneries. And on top of that, my husband had made arrangement with the hotel to bring a bouquet of local flowers and a bottle of Spanish cava, to welcome me on our honeymoon trip! A perfect way to start!
Spending days in the countryside!
Out of the list of things to do in Mallorca, my number one, is to take it slow, just as the southern people do. By staying in one of the best hotel for couples in Mallorca, we made that possible, and quite easily. Ca’s Xorc, is not a boutique hotel like anyone else, it’s surrounded with gardens and nature. On our first morning there, we ordered some coffee before leaving our suite, and we enjoyed the early morning light sitting in our private balcony, enjoying the breathtaking views of the Soller valley, and in the morning silence, that moment was one of the most romantic ones in our honeymoon.
We then decided to have breakfast, and since it was mid-spring, we preferred to take it on the terrace of the hotel. The options were many and delicious, and the view of the sea was making promising a wonderful stay. For our first activity, we decided to rent bikes through the hotel, and pedaled through the amazing landscape around our hotel, making the most out of our romance in Mallorca, by stopping in meadows, to rest under the trees.

Ca’s Xorc Is definitely the most romantic hotel in Mallorca, as all public spaces are equipped with seats and tables for you to have an unexpected break among the gardens, so in every route we took inside the hotel, we always ended up sitting in one of the tables to relax and enjoy ourselves. We also decided to arrange a massage for two on one of the gardens of the hotel, by dusk. I will never forget that experience, having a special treatment with my important other in the fragrant garden and under this beautiful afternoon light. Afterwards, we enjoyed some jacuzzi time in another area of our luxury hotel in Mallorca, and really let our bodies gain the most of the experience, while we were amazed by the romantic scenery.
Mediterranean dinner!
For our honeymoon dinner we made a reservation at the hotel restaurant and to be precise, we picked to eat at the panorama terrace, with a breath-taking view of both the mountains and the sea. The menu was incredible and very much to our personal taste. The boutique hotel in Mallorca offers a menu that respects the local production, and that is the concept I mostly love regarding eating habits. We picked from the menu, and I absolutely love the sea bass with white wine saffron sauce, green asparagus and clams, so well balanced and delicious, while my husband enjoyed the tenderloin with port wine sauce and baby vegetables.
While eating under the stars, we made a toast with the fine Spanish wine picked of the wine list, and wished to have a marriage that lasts a lifetime. The rest of our days of our Mallorca honeymoon, we also dinner at the old oil mil of Sa Tafona, and tried other delicacies of the menu, in the historical building.
Romantic walks and activities in Mallorca!
For the rest of our stay, we decided to go hiking, to enjoy to the fullest the wildlife around us. We took a short trip to the nearby villages and cities, to try the local food and culture, and had more romantic lunches around small taverns and restaurants. Although, the most exciting thing we did in Mallorca was to ride a balloon! We booked the experience through our boutique hotel in Mallorca, and we had an amazing freedom experience, by flying over the island at dawn! We even got a flying license afterwards! My husband was so excited!
